Music for our Title Sequence

This is the sort of music that our group have agreed on. We have gone for the rock genre as the stereotypical lifestyle for the people who are into this sort of music, is a laid back, relaxing and lazy. This suits our film because it is all about a lazy man who needs to try make a living for himself and the rock song emphasises with this. The whole point in using a similar song is because it is stereotypical. When you see the man and he doesnt make any effort in his life and prefers the 'rock and roll' lifestyle than trying to make a living.

Also this genre of music suits our storyline. If you had any of the following songs as in the title sequence, it wouldn't set the right pace for the film:

This song would not suit our title because it is a high beat, club song. This gives of the information that it will be a film about a party-goer, high in life person whose very active.

This song would also not fit our title sequence, even though it is called 'The Lazy Song' it is not actually a song that you would listen to. It is a very upbeat song and takes a joke side to being lazy. This takes a light hearted look on people when they have a 'lazy day' and makes it into a happy song.

This is the reason why have gone for the rock genre is because it sets the pace and gives the audience a sense of what the film is about. It attracts the audiences attention and gets them interested from the very start.
