In this lesson, we started to create our storyboards for our title sequence. At first it went smoothly but then we struggled to draw as our group lacks art talent. We then decided to change our mind and use photos from a camera to explain what we will be doing, but our time got cut short and it took longer than we originally planned and we had to get it sorted so we can make a photo animatic to present to the class.
Our group then decided it would be best to carry on with our original copy using the storyboards, ignoring the pictures. Once we sorted that out and completed our storyboard, we made a new 'final' version of our storyboard. We tried to make it look neat and presentable, so when it is in a photo animatic, everyone in the class will understand. We had to add a lot of detail to our storyboards so if people read it, they will instantly understand.
The photo animatic task was always going to be difficult for our group because our title sequence is not filmed in sections and edited together. It is one 360degree movement, so not much changed in terms of scenery. Also because it is only one shot, this would be hard to show in 2D on a piece of paper. We decided to add more storyboards into it and now it is easier to understand now and the director will understand fully what we want to do.
